Finakor patent

Finakor is a ceramic material designed at Korzilius laboratories, out of which all Korzilius tiles and shaped elements are manufactured. The exceptional character of finakor material results not only from the quality and type of applied raw materials but also from differentiation of the grinding degree of particular components in strictly defined proportions. The addition of feldspar improves the ceramic cross-linking of the material. In this way, following firing process, a unique structure of tiles is created, which ensures outstanding adherence properties, as well as high resistance to frost and impact strength.

The special recipe of finakor material and the manufacturing engineering process, used for its production, ensure unique, capillary structure of Korzilius tiles and shaped elements in the course of ceramics burning. This structure enables optimal steam elimination, accumulated in the joint and base - steam is not stopped by the tile but freely permeates into the joint to evaporate outwards.
