Slip-resistant tiles

Descriptions of anti-slip tile categories for industrial premises with enhanced slip hazards. Ceramic floor coverings for working areas and areas exposed to very slippery substances (greases, oils, foods, waste of plant origin) have special requirements, which the Korzilius slip-resistant tiles fully meet. By means of specified test procedures, tiles products are divided up into 4 groups from R 9 to R 12 depending on certain criteria. The non-slip requirements become more stringent from category R 9 to R 12.

Description of symbols for tiles exposed to direct contact with water. Korzilius slip-resistant tiles for all wet areas indoors and outdoors and for pools fully meet the specific requirements given by German Federation of Accident Insurance Associations BAGUV. The wet barefoot areas are divided into three groups: A, B, C.
